The Butchery at Bowhouse is seeking a dynamic and experienced Butchery Manager to drive the production and quality of our showpiece Butchery Department.

Located in the picturesque East Neuk of Fife, surrounded by produce from land and sea, Bowhouse has an established reputation for producing high quality food and drink from the local resources. As an Organic and Pasture for Life Certified butchery, our customers actively support our methods. Supplying some of Scotland’s top restaurants, retailing both at Bowhouse and online to a growing market. As part of Balcaskie Estate, the Butchery at Bowhouse benefits from a well-resourced team admin support.

We are looking for an individual who matches our passion for whole carcase butchery, working with the farm team to consistently achieve both our own and our customer’s high expectations in quality and service.

The successful candidate must have an excellent knowledge of full carcass butchery with both traditional and modern cuts. The role predominately covers Butchery production, supply and managing stock as well as working with our existing customers both retail and wholesale. A genuine interest in great food is essential, and we are looking for an individual who is keen to learn, develop and grow within the company.
